🔎 Overview

This tour combines mountain and sea and runs almost exclusively on loose, stony ground – tubeless recommended 😉After the dunes, there is a rough stony section but don’t be put off by this, as the path turns into a good rideable track after a few hairpin bends.

Shortly before the second ascent, the path is heavily washed out due to rainfall, it is important to find a good line between the cracks.

Then after reaching an old mining area, you’ll reach the route’s highest point that branches off into a panoramic track, which slopes gently down to the north until the last short uphill that leads into the river valley of the Riu Irvi – pure gold-digger atmosphere and Wild West feeling. 🤠On the spectacular section towards the coast, the red riverbed has to be crossed again and again – often walking your bike 😉
After the narrow valley, the riverbed opens up into a wide plain. From here a sandy track leads back to the dunes and the starting point: the Dunes of Piscinas, a desert-like beach 🌊🏜️
