🔎 Overview

Monferrato’s hidden gem. The gravel bike is perfect to discover the less crowded countryside roads. The 5km stretch before Castel Bormida is a real highlight for fast gravellers, with an adventurous ford on the Bormida river. Approaching the hills of Acqui Terme, the landscape changes and you enter a world of narrow valleys and steep hills covered with vineyards. The stunning views are a well deserved reward for the effort on the challenging steeps. Last highlight: the woods after Mombaruzzo, pure cyclocross style 🚴‍♀️ 🚴 🚴‍♂️

👀 Our advices

The only important suggestion is to use at leats 40mm tires as the Bombaruzzo CX when wet would be impossible to do otherwise.
