🔎 Overview

Il Giro del Cilento, a journey through the colours of an UNESCO Geopark in southern Italy. 🇮🇹

This Staff Pick is inspired by the La Via Silente bike tour. The original Via Silente is a circular route starting and ending at Castelnuovo.

This route started in Sapri and ended in the beautiful archeological site of Paestum, allowing you to get to know both the coast with its beautiful sea, the regional hinterland and its historically rich villages.

Here you’re in Campania, almost on the tip of the Italian boot. Here time seems to slow down among the small villages and this gives you the opportunity to enjoy nature in all of its forms: sea, parks and mountains.

After many kilometers of ups and downs, it’s finally time for a relaxing coffee break at the local bars to eat your well-deserved “cornetto” (italian brioche).

The climbs are not lacking, but the red-sunset-view from the “Terrazza del Cilento” will be your best reward.
