🔎 Overview

This cycling tour starts from an iconic Italian highlight: the Etna volcano in Sicily, the ancient island at the tip of the Italian boot .

On this tour you’ll cycle through some of the most famous Sicilian cities, several natural parks and beautiful coasts.

At Etna’s feet, just after Nicolosi you’ll find the natural reserve of the Simeto Lavic Gorges carved by the river in the basalt created by Etna’s lava.

The arrival in Bronte is announced by the expanses of pistachio groves. The town is well-known for the production of an excellent pistachio used in the preparation of many recipes, don’t leave without tasting them, in a ”cannolo” for example.

After Bronte, cycle towards Randazzo, an historic medieval town, and Giardini Naxos, the place where the Greeks first settled in Sicily. Late summer walks along the shoreline are just better if you eat an “arancino”.

We recommend a small tour to Taormina: the pearl of the Ionian Sea, rich in historical beauties such as the Greek theater. Take your time at the seaside and taste a classic “cassata”, you will never forget it.

After Giardini Naxos, the last city awaits you: Aci Trezza, made famous by the novel “I Malavoglia” by Giovanni Verga.
