🔎 Overview

Three days of cycling in Molise. 🚲 🇮🇹 💚
This route was realised by @caterinazanirato: more than 200 km to visit this little-known region of southern Italy.
Escape the chaos and venture between the coast, villages and natural parks. 🍃

1️⃣ Termoli > Guardialfiera.
Termoli overlooks the sea with its small wooden houses: the “trabocchi”, structures built in the past by fishermen. Some of them have now been converted into restaurants where you have to taste the fresh fish dishes. 🍽

2️⃣ Guardialfiera > Campobasso.
Take a short break in Civitacampomarano among the narrow streets full of street art. 🧑🏻🎨 Once in Campobasso, get lost in the alleys leading to the Monforte Castle. 🏰 Truffle lovers will find their paradise there. 😋

3️⃣ Campobasso > Castelpetroso.
You will cycle through the Matese Regional Park: the perfect destination for lovers of every sport. Once in Roccamandolfi visit the Tibetan bridge, suspended 140 metres high in the middle of the mountains.
The small town of Castelpetroso is known for the sanctuary of the Madonna Addolorata: an imposing gothic pilgrimage destination.

Caterina also wrote a longer review of her trip, you can read it here.
