European Parks Day 🌱
Today on the occasion of this day we share a cycle tour where you will ride between the Three Peaks Nature Park and the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park.

This is the tour of the Antelao, the king of the Dolomites. This pick is a circular route with departure and return from Dobbiaco in the upper Pusteria Valley.

The special feature of this tour is that you ride surrounded by green mountains and blue lakes.

You will come across Lake Dobbiaco, Lake Landro and Lake Misurina, where you will have a beautiful view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Continue towards Auronzo and the shores of the blue Lake Santa Caterina.
You will continue between other small mountain villages and small lakes until you reach Lake Cadore, one of the largest on the route.

You can continue along the “Lungavia delle Dolomiti”: the cycle path built on the route of the old railway.

The next town that awaits you is San Vito di Cadore, in the province of Belluno. This small town gets often chosen as location for film sets, such as the nearby Lake Sorapiss or the Dobbiaco Lake that you cross at the beginning of the route.

You will also reach Cortina, known for its many winter and summer activities as “the pearl of the Dolomites”.

Today the Giro d’Italia goes from Sacile to Cortina.
Relive the emotions of the Giro in your holiday with the Staff Pick of Antelao. Always feel free to ask us for advices ✌️
